Commissioned for the Lost Years exhibition at Dunham Massey, this stop frame animation tells the story of George Harry Grey, Dunham’s wild child. A rare chance to use traditional filmmaking techniques, using cut out characters on top of a lightbox. Around 150,000 frames were captured as we made this film!
